How did we come up with the idea for BOMBAY BURRITO?
In short, it was driving us crazy that we couldn’t get great tasting, fast, healthy, authentic curry when we wanted it (and we want it a lot). Plus, curry in the UK has landed itself with a bad reputation for being greasy, pricey and best eaten after a big night. And we wanted to do something about it. So we did!
I’m a BOMBAY BURRITO virgin. What do I have to do?
Lie back, bite your lip and think of India! Seriously though, building your perfect BB meal couldn't be simpler. Just follow these 3 steps:
1] Choose your meal - Bombay Burrito, Salad bowl, Curry bowl, Chips with the works etc…
2] Pick a curry sauce & filling - e.g. Tandoori chicken with one of our hot sauces, shredded beef with something smooth and mild (all of today’s curry sauces are listed on the menu page here).
3] Pile on anything else you fancy, including rice, salad, toppings & chutneys. Remember: if you can see it and you want it, it’s IN.
Can BOMBAY BURRITO curry really be HEALTHY?
Think of a swear word. And then add ‘YES’ to it! Our food is packed with incredibly powerful natural ingredients (turmeric alone is proven to tame cancer, heart and liver disease AND prevent the spread of fat tissue).
And because we’ve banned ghee, cream and all unnecessary oil, our curry is wildly different from the greasy fare on offer down the local Tandoori. Throw in all the fresh salad and herbs you can handle and rest assured this is fine, guilt-free Indian food you can enjoy every day.
I’m vegetarian. Talk to me!
Howdy. All our curries, toppings and chutneys are 100% vegetarian*. Plus we have a range a range of great-tasting veggie fillings including Paneer (Indian cheese – think halloumi in a sari), chickpeas (chana masala) & grilled onions.
*In fact, the only non-vegetarian food we have on the menu is our meat fillings
Is our food Halal?
Yes, all our chicken is Halal. Our beef isn’t at present. Everything else on the menu is vegetarian. If you'd like to see our Halal certification, we'll be happy to show it you.
I’m vegan. Talk to me too!
Howdy to you too. Some of our curries and chutneys contain yoghurt, and paneer will be a no-go. But our regulars know we roll a mean vegan burrito, packed with spice, rice, salad and chutneys. Just ask and we’ll show you exactly what options you can enjoy.
Help! If I eat too many BBs, will I grow a moustache?
Mixing super-fresh Indian food with the classic Mexican tortilla sure has its risks. But we've got the top men in Mumbai and Mexico looking into this. And fingers crossed...
We don’t have official nutrition figures just yet (it's on our list!). But we’ve done our sums and we reckon a regular Bombay Burrito comes in at roughly 600 calories, and a large one at around 800. Skipping the tortilla knocks off around 200 calories.
Do we deliver?
We haven’t officially launched our delivery service yet (watch this space!). But if you're close by, and would like a delivery, please get in touch and we'll do our best to get to you.
Do we offer student discount?
Of course. Show us your student ID and we’ll knock 10% off your bill at all times. We have free WIFI too.

YOU control the spice. So no matter how spicy - or not - you like your food, we guarantee we’ve got something you’ll love. Control your spice in 2 ways - firstly by choosing differently spiced curries and then teaming them with either cool or spicy chutneys.

PS: If you love spicy food, you don’t always have to order our hottest curry to get your spice fix. A mild curry like Dhansak, for example, goes amazingly with fresh chillies, garlic chilli and super-hot Naga Khan.
It’s the same if you prefer less spicy food. You can still enjoy a delicious zingy curry like Rogan Josh if you lavish on cool lettuce and coriander, and lashings of yoghurt and mango.

MIX & MATCH YOUR FILLINGS! Mixing paneer with chicken... or beef with chicken... or paneer with beef... is amazing. That’s all we have to say.
When will the next BB restaurant open? Have we got expansion plans?
Yes we do – seriously big ones! And if you’re an investor and would like to get involved in what is the world's greatest curry business (we're only half joking...), we’d love to speak to you.
